Multi-platform stations with only bi-directional platforms

We seem to have threads for every other type of station so we may aswell chew this one over.

Basically we are looking for non-terminus stations which have more than one platform, where every platform can have passenger services leaving in either direction (not neccesarily in normal service, but always controlled by signals)

I'll start with....

If that's the case then Peterborough is also a contender as you can enter and leave from any platform (except Platform 1) although it does slightly depend on if the Huntingdon or March route is taken going south.

How is platform 5 arguably? You can only enter or leave from one end, so it isn't bi-directional is it? Same for Peterborough, you can't depart it in either direction, so it isn't bi-directional.

Is New Street the station with the largest number of platforms that are purely bi-directional through platforms?

I almost fell into the trap of saying Clapham Junction then but it has bays (if indeed all platforms can be used bi directionally)

Preston is wrong because of 3c and 4c at the south end.

Birmigham New Street is also wrong because of 4c

East Croydon must be in contention to be the biggest?

Some of East Croydon's platforms are single direction aren't they? I'm sure 1 is up only and 6 is down only.

lancaster isn't, all stations that are 2 plats (Diss, Stowmarket, kelvedon etc) on the GEML are bi-di, mas is Chippenham, Bath (?) and Swindon

Diss doesn't count as you can't get into the down platform from the up road without reversing. Like wise you can't depart the down platform onto the up road without reversing which is prohibited with in service passenger trains.

Well, surely every bay is bi-directionally signalled, otherwise they'd fill up with trains that can't get out. I totally forgot 4c at New St, hence why I put it, but I'm sure the OP is referring to through platforms only, as it's not common for them to be all bi-directional.

We'll have to wait for clarification from the OP, but Wolves and Cambridge have bay platforms so watch this space.

But Wolverhampton, New Street and Cambridge all have non-through platforms, so the stations are not only mutliple bi-directional platforms, which the OP was after.

Hmmmmm, me confused. AFAIK, all my listed stations have bi-di at all platforms (inc. bays)

But how can you have a bi-directional bay platform, you cannot arrive or depart in two seperate directions. Otherwise places like Waterloo would count, because they are signalled for inward and outward movements.
