Moedot7, just heard that people aren't knowing enough about the company so they get let go at that stage, so just wondering if anyone has had the interview with the line manager and been successful and what aort of knowledge to aim for

I would try to learn as much as possible, my assessment day 2 is on the 12th August, If I'm successful I plan to find out everything about MTR. Don't leave anything to chance.

The researched stuff they have heard a million times but your question hopefully they won't have.

Had my manager interview yesterday,
Think i failed terrible.
1st minute of the interview my phone ring...
After that i cut out totaly
Things i repeated in my head before just gone . Was my first proper interview,they did it by the book 120% profesionaly and i acted like a 3 year old((
Wasn t me in there i suggest to whoever has the interview to ask friends to do mock interviews before ,that will help alot.also to research the company !!!! As much as possible!!!
I fond loads of things outside the box about the company and i forgot to mention them!
They are very friendly but same time dominate.the fact that they take notes made me even more nervos.

I could understand asking about a relevant item to your current route in the current won (maybe a tsr or possession) to see if you read it, but I reckon less than 1% of drivers would know the week number, even if it is printed on the front lol

Hello all, this is my 1st post, sorry if it's long. I managed to pass the interview then medical, crb and reference checks. I went into the interview knowing as much as I could about Mr and the crossrail project. They asked me what my opinion of a drivers role is and asked why them and why me. All in all even with the questions I asked I was only in there for 36 minutes. I'm not sure if I was lucky or caught the managers on a good day but one thing I will say to anyone who has their interview soon, try to relax as the company as a whole seemed to have a welcoming way about them. I start training on 5th October and hope to see some of you soon.

Congratulations mate!! I've passed stage 2 assessment and am waiting for an interview date. Thanks for the insight and information. If there's anything else that can help me, or others, please do let me know!! Any info and or advice would be more than appreciated!

Hi, just had my interview, don't think it went well. The interviewer did not look that impressed, I was just too nervous.

Anyone knows if you can reapply if you have passed the assessments just for the interview bit?
