Well i've just updated my mileage for the last time in 2014! 20644 miles travelled. Another year where year on year i'm down. As I stated in my trip report thread, as my route required diminishes so does my mileage.

Final journey of the year complete, however lots of gaps for missing mileage, some of which are small, but others large (Llanelli to Fishguard, Euston to Birmingham International via Virgin Diversion for example)

Well, mine finished in the same way it started - on a 185 (185 106 to start and 185 107 to end!)

Very nearly ended up as a 142 but a quick return to Scarborough to take care of some stuff thankfully changed that!

I finished at 11287m 58ch for 2014. I've had a few cancelled trips lately for various reasons, so am probably short around 1,000 miles sadly. Unlike Crossover, I didn't avoid finishing the year with a 142(033) on a train from Lincoln to Worksop - at least it wasn't a dud.

2014's bashing started on 17th February with 170511 on 0940 Hereford to Birmingham New Street, and finished on 16th December (almost exactly 10 months later!) with 170513+153375 on 1549 Birmingham New Street to Hereford.

2015 is due to start with the 0849 Hereford to Birmingham New Street on Monday. I say due to start with that, I might still change my mind and head the other way for once! No doubt I'll stick with the Midlands but I do have a feeling heading south may still happen!

Well, my last train of the year was a Northern rail 150 - a pretty untidy one at that.
My first train of 2015 was a 91 which I didn't get the number of, having been sitting in coach H - start as you mean to go on?

Trying to get all the 2014 mileage together I can do without railmiles so I can slot them in, but there's a fair few I'm going to struggle with...

I have tot-ed my journeys up and my year-end sum stands at 33334. A little disappointing but only to be expected with the lack of Rover journeys this year.

By "both ways" do you mean both Acle and Reedham?

I see. Very rarely is there a difference in opposite directions. (I actually thought you meant Great Yarmouth when you said "both ways".)

Lowestoft - Norwich is 23m 41c, and Norwich - Wymondham is 11m 26c, so a total of 34m 67c for the through journey.

Norwich - Ely is 53m 59c, and Ely - Peterborough is 30m 44c, so Lowestoft - Peterborough is 107m 64c.

(Ely - Peterborough is 30m 40c if you go by the Sectional Appendix.)
