Hey there people

I have two sets of updates the first is just the recent "Normal" photos as always which include just Rugby and the various units, electrics and other miscellany involved with the WCML.

http://retrospective.ukgeeks.co.uk/p57849633.html The first shot.

Just carry on clicking until you reach.............

http://retrospective.ukgeeks.co.uk/p57849619.html The last shot.

So now we have the business side of things out of the way let's get to the fun part in the form of a good old fashioned Diesel gala but with a difference considering it was held at the Midland Railway Centre which are not exactly reknownd with anything too Hellfire (as the kids put it) but I was seriously surprised by a few deviations from the timetable such as

This http://retrospective.ukgeeks.co.uk/p57849822.html
And this http://retrospective.ukgeeks.co.uk/p57849814.html
And finally http://retrospective.ukgeeks.co.uk/p57849806.html

But also there were some beautiful locations with some great traction and just to win it all lovely weather which all together produced shots like.......

This http://retrospective.ukgeeks.co.uk/p57849819.html
Also http://retrospective.ukgeeks.co.uk/p57849800.html
and http://retrospective.ukgeeks.co.uk/p57849793.html

and another great feature was the driver for a fiver utilising the former colliery branch at Swanick junction using some form of Andrew-Barclay shunter which was quite fun to watch..............

As you can see http://retrospective.ukgeeks.co.uk/p57849809.html

Anyway you can take a look for yourselves and make you mind up on if the gala was worth my time and effort (yeah right :D) http://retrospective.ukgeeks.co.uk/c1689503_1.html

Hopefully you will enjoy and maybe if you do or dont like the shots you might want to leave some positive or negative feedback which will be greatly appriciated.

All the best.
Scott Turner.
