There is a diagram that runs in peak hours which ends at around 10am and the unit resides in either the Wall Sidings or Carrige Sidings. The diagram then restarts at around 4pm.
Well, fingers crossed for tomorrow. 
The diagram in question does the 06.03, 08.03, 16.03, 18.03, 20.03 & 22.03 services from Southport and the 07.02, 09.02, 17.02, 19.02, 21.02 & 23.02 from Liverpool Central. How much of the diagram the 507/8 does has varied; sometimes they sub it on for the 08.03 from Southport as that's the busy AM journey.

Hope they'll stay on the diagram for the afternoon runs as I'll try to get in if possible.
Fine pairing 507018 and 029 have also formed the 06.03 from Southport and 07.02 return. Not substituted on so potentially a good sign for the afternoon part of the diagram.

507003 is powered on with lights on the inside at Southport. Given there is a 777 just started at Bank Hall and running 15 mins late due to a fault, may be worth keeping an eye out.
Looks like 507003 is off to take up a Chester duty from Rock Ferry as 5T80 from Southport and 5T81 from Sandhills. First working set to be 09.27 Rock Ferry - Liverpool - Chester.
Managed a video earlier at Southport as it came in to form the ECS; a nice bonus.

Completely regretting not going on it now. Could they really have another 6 weeks?
For anyone after 018 + 029 later: there were no spares at Southport so unless something moves up there, the 507s are guaranteed to go back out for the 16.03 departure. They have retired to the farmost Southport siding in the meantime.

Many thanks, I'm heading into town now to try and get 3 incase that gets ripped then will head up to Southport
5 out of the remaining 6 within a week would just be magnificent

If it is still on diagram it should currently be on 16.45 Liverpool Central to Chester. Next circuit starts Chester at 17.42 as 2C47

Unfortunately not, it has been replaced by 777 014 at Rock Ferry
507018 and 029 are back out on the same Southport line diagram as yesterday starting with the 06.03 to Liverpool. Early signs this could remain a regular thing for the time being as Merseyrail address the ongoing severe overcrowding on this line.
Also, it appears 507003 will run the New Brighton line today, starting with the 07.38 circuit.
