Not currently i dont think, however was checking the timings and it appears the ECS to Hooton is now from New Brighton Sidings rather than Birkenhead EMUD.Realtime Trains | 5T80 0800 Southport to Kirkdale C.S. | 14/09/2024

Both running with the same headcode. I think that leaves just 507023 now at Southport, in the Birkdale sidings.
Has it been confirmed which two units are running on the railtour tomorrow?
Looks to have turned around running 2W33, How long will this run for before it’s taken off?507029 is currently working 2W28. The 13:51 Moorfields to West Kirby
The diagram 029 is currently working does finish early evening on 2W48, so may come to a natural end at around 19:30.Looks to have turned around running 2W33, How long will this run for before it’s taken off?
I really hope the contributors to this thread - those on, or watching, the tour - will share great footage from the day.507001 and 003 are the units for tomorrow's tour. They are stabled at New Brighton (number two siding) now; both have had a thorough external clean and 003 has a new motor-alternator fitted.
They don't look perfect but clearly have been cleaned. One of the cleaners has actually left a sponge on the front end of 003.At new Brighton looking at 003 and 001, they haven’t seemed to have cleaned
It at all!
Ah very good. Lets hope a 197 going into the sidings doesn't delay it at Chester like it did at the end of the 508 tour. Good thing it ends at HootonGood luck to anyone chasing the railtour today!

Likewise saw it at Green Lane on my way to join it.Just seen the tour ECS passing Birkenhead Central, 507003 is facing Chester direction as of now, with 507001 on the rear
Directions will probably change as they go through to stock interchange
superb !Anyone on board prior to departure from West Kirby hopefully would have heard an announcement from Phil Sayer
