Should both move tonight on 5Q78 to Kirkdale777053 moved Long Marston to Walton Sidings. Warrington, joining 777035 which is already there.
Yes it was both units.5Q78 arrived at Kirkdale in the early hours this morning. I assume it arrived with 035 & 053? Can anyone confirm please.
As far as I can see, it does not seem 777029 was in service on 27/8 (link below). I don't believe either 777029 or 777047 has entered service yet.029 shows as in service on 27/8 on PTS

Any idea when or its first day in service?I believe 029 had been in use, but 047 is yet to see use.
I shall try and find out, two people who keep track of the units told me it had been in service when I said 029/047 were only 2 not to have entered traffic.Any idea when or its first day in service?
I can't see any record of it being in service.
Thanks for the information. Any idea of which platform bay it was on?777047 was in the bay platform at Rock Ferry yesterday morning......it *may* have entered service on the Ellesmere Port line later in the morning from a report elsewhere.

I was catching up with my friend the other day who is a guard at ME. I assumed these had settled down a bit now but he says the PIS faults, CCTV faults, door faults and step faults are still a daily occurrence albeit not to the point of mass cancellations like it was. I've used 777s quite a lot this week, I've seen a couple with doors taped off and locked out of use. What I cannot get my head around is why there are units running around in service with broken doors when there are spare 777's parked up around the network. I took a trip on 777002 recently and it was very busy and there was one set of doors out of use which caused no end of further problems - saw someone struggle through the crowded train and miss there stop as the door was out of action and no time to get back to another! I don't see that there is any excuse to be running units around with faulty doors when there are spare units available - better to even put a 507 on the diagram if you havent got a spare 777 imo!
When I got off at Hamilton Square on Tuesday the step failed to come out at all leaving a rather large gap!
Railtrack? With regard to failures we see multiple Railtrack employees visiting the substation and points at port sunlight pretty much nightly for years so i don't think its just the trains that have been invested in poorly .
You mean Network Rail? Railtrack hasn't existed for many many yearsYes its all down the side of the vehicles.
