Still there now at 1740! There was a similar incident a few months ago where a 777 had its brakes locked on but as I recall it got stuck just past Walton Junction which definitely caused some issues. It is. Had to walk to Lime Street as an alternative. Time for a beer or two whilst I wait though so not the end of the world
Edit - problem was with 507033 apparently, brakes locked.
Were the passengers evacuated in the loop tunnel or remained on the train ?It is. Had to walk to Lime Street as an alternative. Time for a beer or two whilst I wait though so not the end of the world

777024 moved tonight on 6Q80, 777028/030 will remain at Walton until there’s roomAnd stayed there, according to RTT last nights 6Q78 to Kirkdale was cancelled and is scheduled to run as 2254 6Q80 tonight
Any idea on what the issue is? This has got to be one of the most inept introductions of a new train type.No battery trains this morning... everything from Headbolt Lane cancelled until after the peak, starting / terminating at Kirkby.
To be fair the battery units were always going to take a lot of getting used too. And they’ve done better than I thought initially other than this morningAny idea on what the issue is? This has got to be one of the most inept introductions of a new train type.
Update: No 777150 and 777152 were delivered to Kirkdale CS today from WOJn MSC Sidings via 6Q77.
For some unknown reason / oversight / incorrect info, I had 777150 at Kirkdale CS already but only delivered today! Sorry.
