Wondering the same. Causing chaos!

It is. Had to walk to Lime Street as an alternative. Time for a beer or two whilst I wait though so not the end of the world :D

Edit - problem was with 507033 apparently, brakes locked.

Still there now at 1740! There was a similar incident a few months ago where a 777 had its brakes locked on but as I recall it got stuck just past Walton Junction which definitely caused some issues.

Were the passengers evacuated in the loop tunnel or remained on the train ?

Not even 0700 and it would appear two units have already popped. 2O02 is missing and 2Q02 (0635 Central to Kirkby) is still at Central having just changed to 5Q02. Guess they don’t like the rain!

And stayed there, according to RTT last nights 6Q78 to Kirkdale was cancelled and is scheduled to run as 2254 6Q80 tonight
Confirmed by sight passing on a TFW service earlier, still there. Didn't catch unit numbers.

Have seen a picture on Twitter of 777146 in service. Have any others made an appearance apart from 142/146/148?

Any idea on what the issue is? This has got to be one of the most inept introductions of a new train type.

Looks like they've got one battery out now, so hourly service at the minute again. No one's going to chance it whilst it's like this.

To be fair the battery units were always going to take a lot of getting used too. And they’ve done better than I thought initially other than this morning

Update: No 777150 and 777152 were delivered to Kirkdale CS today from WOJn MSC Sidings via 6Q77.

For some unknown reason / oversight / incorrect info, I had 777150 at Kirkdale CS already but only delivered today! Sorry. :(

Kirkdale C.S. = 001 to 020 inclusive, 023, 026, 031, 036, 049, 140, 142, 144, 146, 148, 150 and 152.

Update - No 777024 was delivered to Kirkdale CS late last night with both No's 777028 and 030 remaining at WOJn MSC Sidings for the time being.

From Merseyrail's website:

"Due to a train fault at Headbolt Lane the Headbolt Lane line is disrupted. Disruption is expected until 18:00 13/10.

Impact:
Train services to Headbolt Lane will be suspended between Kirkby and Headbolt Lane.

Customer Advice:
Replacement road transport services are conveying passengers between Kirkby and Headbolt Lane in both directions until further notice."

He only appears when there is some positive news, otherwise he remains in his bunker.

I say we all bombard his office and ask for our money back, since he personally built every train by hand himself.

Better still, let’s elect a Tory next time round and see how many transport works get approved!
