Question is with the amount of fans they've got in the station how are they planning on getting them all off safely to their relevant destinationsScuffles have reportedly broken out in Piccadilly Station as fans tried to board trains following United's West Ham game.
Huge crowds of supporters have gathered at the station tonight with the hub seemingly unable to cope with the huge numbers.
Pictures show the station concourse crowded with fans seeking to travel home after the fixture.
Many of those complaining on social media about the crush, claim that jostling had broken out as frustrated travellers waited to board services.
Journalist Charlie Beckett posted an image of the heaving platform on Twitter, adding: "Nightmare at Piccadilly. Clearly Manchester has never hosted a major football match before."
And Heather Catlow also Tweeted an image showing hundreds gathered at the entrance to platforms six and seven, adding: "Absolute chaos at Manchester Piccadilly."
And Joe Asbridge added: "@VirginTrains condoning off all entrances to the platforms and pushing everyone through a single entrance....
