Are there any maintenance workers in here? I’ve literally gone 300 pages deep back to 2015 looking at every thread on what they do and what to expect at the interview but every thread seems about wanna be drivers and guards.
Have you tried the search function? Are there any maintenance workers in here? I’ve literally gone 300 pages deep back to 2015 looking at every thread on what they do and what to expect at the interview but every thread seems about wanna be drivers and guards.

It is indeed for network rail.If it’s for NR? There will be two tests one is a mechanical test the other is a personality test
For the mechanical test time just goes so quick I think it’s 15 questions in 20 minutes so you haven’t got long. So it’s just practice practice practice and keep a eye on the timeIt is indeed for network rail.
thanks for the help, I’ll get practicing on those tests.
Yeah time does fly. That’s unusual signalling technician online test is usually mechanical. Well done as it’s made to be hard so good luckJust sat the tests. One was about me with a personality test. The other was just random questions and multiple choice answers.
8 mins and 40 questions.
I managed 25. I tried so hard but the clock just ticks away.
Thankyou so much. is this the role you’re in too?Yeah time does fly. That’s unusual signalling technician online test is usually mechanical. Well done as it’s made to be hard so good luck
Unfortunately, passing the test doesn’t mean you get an interview! The next stage is normally the hiring managers desk, that’s the person who will decide if you will get an interviewSo I’ve got a pass on the test which will stand for 12 months.
Is the next stage a call to interview?
At this stage has anyone actually likely to have looked at my cv or is it all computer automated?
No worries, and good luckThankyou for the help.
fingers crossed
Maintenance involves track lifting, sleeper changing, digging wet beds anything to do with the main track
