Should be 100% service with reduced capacity in phase 3
Lothian arent taping off seats though?

I'm only quoting what is in the Scottish roadmap out of lockdown.
Our suppliers are manufacturing seat vinyls that will be fitted to seats on our vehicles to help advise where to sit. These will start to appear shortly. In the meantime, please use every other seat where possible.
If you are travelling with other members of your household, please sit together to leave seats free for other customers.
The ECB fleet is starting to emerge. B9's first.
Believe the plan is for all east coast fleet to get screens fitted then head to central. From central, drivers shuttle them down to Musselburgh and pick up a Lothian Bus to take back.Looks like two single decks so far as well. Any ideas if the 13 plate B7RLEs in use with ECB will go into use in the city now?
Appears that 2 Gemini 3's (1 on the 140, and 1 on the 106) also in service now.Looks like two single decks so far as well. Any ideas if the 13 plate B7RLEs in use with ECB will go into use in the city now?

Eventually the singles will do the old switcheroo too.
If all goes to plan with fitting screens to the ECB single decks, 189-190 will goto central. If not, we'll stick some older stock out til the ECB lot are ready then we'll switch out the older lot for 186-190.Makes sense. Will 186-190 used by ECB now go into storage or be used from Sunday on the service enhancements out of central?

Plan is to have as many of the single deck hybrids out as possible though. We want to keep out the newest lot of the fleet. They should be less susceptible to breaking down. Their also cleaner.
Deckers as far as possible. I should imagine every single B5 will be out with B8's then the early Enviros and B9's making up the shortfall. It'll be nice to have some variety on the 30/38 in that case again with 186-190 or as you said potentially older ones until the ECB ones are ready. I'm guessing the 11 plate B9s that are still at Central may see use too?
I'm presuming the 2 will also be double deck to aid with social distancing?

East Coast will be using their B7RLE's for the time being
Out if interest, did they have full screens sitting ready for the B8RLEs from Wright's or did they need to fashion something?B8RLE's aplenty today with East Coast, with 1 or 2 B7RLE's about, mostly B9TL's with the odd B5.
Good to see it's getting back to some normality re branding.

Just heard said bus pass my house off service. Nice to hear some B9 grunt. Great to see services picking up too!374 back out this evening on 26s, nice to hear the sound of B9s again after a few months absence!
The B8RLE's (or atleast 1 of them) shipped with a bandit screen unfitted. The temporary ones fitted have been created from drawings provided by Wright, however, the plastic used is substandard and is being known to cause excessive glare. Their also not bulkhead to windscreen screens, they stop just behind the ticket machine.Out if interest, did they have full screens sitting ready for the B8RLEs from Wright's or did they need to fashion something?

Screens are being created for the remainder of the fleet.
The East Coast fleet is numbered differently to Lothian. They are different companies. There's quite a lot of B9TLs out today and also a B7TL, no. 800, is on service 106.
More likely to see 381-389, 391-400 and 951-960 before the 09 and 59 plates. 201-215 are probably next after the remaining 11 plates. There’s still 460-470 and 579-590 to come back from LC as well.352 is on the short working route of the 16 to Morningside . I wonder if we will see the return of 301-330 soon.

Their fleet is
10051-10065 (3051-3065 on the tracker)
10195-10199
20001-20008
20794-20800
20937-20950
The fleet is for all intensive purposes a different fleet to that of Lothian Buses.
The fleet has 5 digit fleet numbers due to the fuelling systems installed in Musselburgh and North Berwick.
Lothian Buses sold their 794-800 to East Coast Buses which then became their 20794-20800.
Just got a couple of questions here. Have 10101 and 10102 been removed from the ECB fleet?
How did they fair with fuelling when they recently had an allocation of Lothian Buses? Pretend that the LS B5s were 20442 etc?
