.....if the Trident going to LMC is one of the XIL reg'ed ones, then it has to be either 217, 218, 219, 220 (open toppers, 220 being in gold) or 650/651....

As mentioned above 651 is owned by Jacobite cruises in Inverness. It's already in City Sightseeing livery so certainly not going back!

Oh right, I did see the post saying "651 in Inverness so can't be it" but didn't realise that it had actually been sold (obviously I was aware it hadn't been in active service) but thanks for the info and pic.... it's looking good!! :)

Appears to be XIL1483 which makes it 650.

Lothian SN04 NHU was at Livingston Centre in a white colour scheme this morning with no fleet numbers carried.

SN04 NHU (124) has been all over white for around six months having been on loan to one of the parking companies at Edinburgh Airport. It's now remains all over white and see's work with Lothian Country and Lothian.

It wouldn't be the Parking Company who's Citaro got wiped out by a Tram a while back would it?

The very same. Empark. Citaro unsurprisingly written off, 124 was cover, eventually a Scania was bought to replace it. Don't want to go into it too much as people got seriously hurt in it

Enviro400 XLBs 1067 and 1093 still don't appear to have entered service. Anyone know what the delay is?

They've been sent back to ADL, they're getting bits of warranty work done. One of them is going to be going to another company on Demo apparently.

Painted, new Hanover screen in but still on London plates. Wonder if that will be changed but are Lothian now changing all future buses from 1 to 2 doors again? It loses 4 seats but it's better for boarding/alighting

Doesn't lose 4 seats, it loses a buggy space and 2 seats.

No a second door would remove 4 seats. You can get two rows in the space of the door.

These will most likely only have 6 (or 7 at a push) step free seats. With only 15 (or 16) seats on the lower deck.

Yes, as wheelchair goes at the front, not half way where rear door would be.

...I certainly remember the days of dual doors and no buggy/wheelchair space.... I'm happy to see the return of dual doors.

Indeed. A way around this would be to remove the first row of seats on the offside after the staircase and fit two side facing tip ups instead. This would not see a decrease in seating capacity while also allowing for a buggy and/or Standee space.
