This is so helpful! Thank you for taking the time to respond. Would really appreciate if you could share the YouTube links/forums that helped you

These are the two I used for stage 2 among other threads.

Separately if you dont end up getting this position dont give up applying!!! It took me 4 applications before a toc put me through to my stage 1 and 2 and luckily I passed both and then they hired me after. It can be disheartening when you end up being rejected but dont stop applying!

so a little birdie told me the first batch of Interviews for Edinburgh are this week , emails were sent out last week to a batch of people who had to pick dates and were told if they can't make it for those dates they might not be any other dates until the end of the year.

Apparently have to do a 5 minute presentation and the DMI

I guess that'll be that then. Hopefully ScotRail advertise soon but doesn't seem likely going by the other thread. Games a bogey.

Don’t lose faith, not everyone who has been selected might pass the next stages. At least we’re in a ‘talent pool’ so they can move onto the next person if needed ‍♂️

I did my video interview on the 28th. I haven’t heard back yet, if I was successful would I have likely heard back by now.

Did no one read the email? The amount of people that applied they can’t give everyone an interview in the same week. They might not have reviewed your video as of yet.

They will do plenty of interviews. Not everyone will pass and what about psychometrics? Don't worry if he did not hear anything as they keep moving when they do have available dates

Does anyone know if Kings Cross are doing more in person interviews? My partner and I both applied and he has an interview in person but i’ve not heard anything back since the multiple video interviews. I’m just worried I won’t hear anything back from them :(

Had my interview today, they explained that over the next week they are interviewing the first batch of applicants and then they’ll go from there.

How did your interview go? Do you remember what they asked
Sounds like I’m in a similar position to you, friend and I applied, did video interviews-I went first- within days, she got an invite to next stage Interview. Assumed I’d failed but by the sounds of it some have had rejection emails… guess no news is good news….

Hopefully you’ve got through, how was it? Similar to the video interview style of questions? Heard there is a presentation involved too.

Felt like it went well, driver managers were really nice. Yeah 5 min presentation and then 6 questions similar to video interview

Well done for getting this far. Hopefully it is a short turn around for yourself.

Did you find out about the presentation on the day, as I've had assessments where that has happened. Or were you told in advance?

Surprised we've not heard from anyone with Edinburgh interviews if they were indeed this week...
Spoke with someone yesterday who had there interview on Thursday they were told of potential start dates in April and applications are being worked through in batches

Keeping fingers crossed for us all in Edinburgh. I remember when I applied for XC and it took them nearly 9 weeks to reply!

Hi all I completed my video interview for King’s Cross on the 15th and have not heard anything, trying to stay positive with no news is good news but how long does it take to normally hear back weather that’s good or bad news.
Cheers guys
