I've just done the second video interview. 6 questions, 1 minute to prepare, 3 minute time limit on the clip, 1 chance to re-record the answer. There questions were all competency based and what I had expected for the role so no surprises.

At the end the note says it often takes several months to have the interview reviewed by people - does anyone know if that is right?

Think everyone who completed the video interview got the same message, just a waiting game now

Hey guys was just wondering when I applied I did not upload any certificates for Maths and English im 27 years old, and I havent got the proof im pretty sure i need to contact examiners for these certificates as I do remember passing them. They still proccesed me so far through the Ai chat bot questions, then video interview question and now have to do SJT is it safe to assume that they will require for certificates later on or will they disqualify me from proceding any further now?
Not a requirement unless you are 19 or under. LNER can decide if you need to do the core skills as part of the apprenticeship if you got the job.

Hi,
I need to make my Error Checking Test today.
Is anybody able to share some info about the Error checking test? Whats doest it consist of?
Finding mistakes on letters/ number sequences?
Finding errors in scenarios from a given diagram?
Any guidance would be highly appreciated!

I don't think we're supposed to give too much away on here but essentially you are given some information and you need to make sure it matches what's in the table shown. It's very simple to understand just a test of being accurate and efficient.

Good luck to everyone that applied!

I wouldn't worry if you're confident in the answers you gave.

Just curious if anyone knows how the application process may affect any current applications as I am in the talent pool for a TOC at the moment having passed all the OPC assessments not sure if it is worth completing or better off waiting and hoping for a place with my original application

I don't see why it would affect any other applications.

This was very helpful, I was trying to prepare in so many directions ( this being one of them).
Accurate and efficient was a great tip, I passed to the next round.
Thank you.

Got my video interview to do tomorrow. Can anyone give any advice please?
6 questions. 1 minute to prepare an answer and 3 minutes to answer. You get two shots per questions. Typical interview questions you’d expect where you have to example certain stuff.

I got an email a couple hours saying I passed the video interview, now I need to book the next stage interview - I believe this is in-person/online.

Good luck to everyone still waiting for a response!

Well done mate, all the best with the interview. Out of interest, how far away are the dates? Railway industry is usually slow so glad to hear it's a quick turn around for you so far.

Early to mid Feb were the options.

Didn’t pick a date immediately as I was busy, when I came back 1-2hours later there was only a few day left so I reckon quite a few more people received the congrats email
