Shocking, absolutely shocking.
But then again, not so shocking. Having traveled on a fair number of trips I have noticed (and mentioned in the SRT 50s thread) the deteriorating condition of West Coast's coaching stock, the window frames look very knacked (the paint is pretty much gone and the wood shows a few signs of rot) so I guess loosing a window was bound to happen.
I get the feeling that this will have some serious ramifications for West Coast and railtours in general. Perhaps there is more to the story of WCRC having to pull coaching stock and forcing postponements and cancellations to tours.
At least nobody was injured when this incident occurred, now they just have to stop it happening again.
