Still sticking with the now-inaccurate name though...

(Also I notice they spell their name three different ways on that page, as Leelon, LeeLon and Lee-Lon.)

Wow, a Flash based site this time around.

If there's one good thing from all of this, it's a great way of eliminating possible sites to use to build a website!

Maybe we should go and create our very own LeeLon sites (as a tribute, of course) to see if he might get a world record for the number of sites created for the same (fake) business?

Hi Andrew,

Once again I notice that the LeeLon Travel website and Facebook page are unavailable. Please can you once again confirm that the coach on 15 December will still be running? Are there any other passengers travelling on this coach or will we be able to sit anywhere we like on this coach?

Dear Charlie,
I can confirm the coach on 15th on December is still running and you can sit anywhere onboard this coach, Sorry for the late reply as I have been out of office the last couple of days.

Many Thanks

Yes. It will be a magical adventure! Make sure you've also got cash for fuel too.

only just got round to reading the latest routeone webzine, got a few paragraphs about these 'operators' in there. Doesn't inspire much confidence.

The article is technically incorrect though.

A limited company registered in the UK must provide details of the registered company name, company number and registered address on both the website and any email marketing campaigns. However, this does not apply to sole traders nor to companies registered outside the UK (unless local laws say otherwise.)

However, as he collects personal data he must register with the information commissioner.

But...he claims he is a limited company! :|

And if an organisation isn't one of limited liability (company (Ltd/PLC) or partnership (LLP)), the owners are personally liable for any losses and/or outstanding debts.

The only logical explanation I can think of is that this is some GCSE coursework about a fictional company that has been put online......It's clearly not a real Company, though it could be a fraudster trying to get gullible illiterate people to part with their cash.

I have seen a page on Linkedin that states this person attended Minsthorpe Community College from 2002-2007, so according to these dates, he will be in his early 20's by now, which would rule out GCSE coursework in 2012.

I suppose that information shown on Linkedin may well have been given fraudulently, as much of the other information that emanates from him, from what I have read from postings upon this thread.

That would have been interesting back on Page 1 ;)

Against my better judgement I've made the payment, just waiting for my e-tickets now.
If anyone wants 2 tickets from Sheffield to Chesterfield on Saturday, December 15, 2012 let me know.

EDIT: E-ticket has arrived, it's a late one:

So in a couple of hours time you should be on your way from Sheffield to Chesterfield! Do let us know how you get on.

So did the bus run then? If not, can someone now report him to the police for obtaining money by deception?

Only promblem with current booking form is that there has to be at least 1 adult 1 child and 1 infant and that people aged 60plus can't book any tickets

By the way, what IS the vibrant city off Leeds? And how far off from Leeds is it?!

I never knew there were so many free website creators out there though. I'm surprised more businesses don't use them to save costs. :)

As the creator of the "Closed Stations Journey" quiz, perhaps I should consider using one of the free website creators to do one for me, using the quiz idea for "journeys of railway remembrance".

Anyone for a run up on the Wick and Lybster Light Railway....:D:D
