While everyone's at it, I suggest you report Andrew May's facebook page as a fake profile since I get the impression that 'Andrew May' isn't a real person and whoever set the page up is using someone else's photos. This could make any legal proceedings difficult (if there is evidence of fraud) if 'Andrew May' isn't a real person (although Facebook will provide an IP address if asked to by the CPS)

Just discovered another page of someone called 'Andrew May' who claims to have studied at the same educational institution and is supposedly in a relationship with someone else :o . This 'Andrew May' (whom I believe is the actual Andrew May) uses the same personal photos as the 'Andrew May' in charge of LeeLoy Travel!

I the other Andrew May also going out with a pornstar?

If someone was trying to look legit, you'd think they'd try a bit harder. It all looks like someone wants everyone to know it's a con.

Yeah, the pretend Andrew May was. Judging by a couple of wall posts the 'real' Andrew May has a girlfriend. I wonder if she knows all about this?

I'm wondering as to whether I ought to ring the firms he's supposedly worked for just to see whether he's worked for them.

Don't give him money - who says the amount he claims he'll take for the booking is the amount he'll actually take?

I've been advised that apparently these guys aren't registered at Companies House. Is this normal at this stage or should they be registered by now?
Only limited companies need to register. If this is a trading name he can call it whatever he likes so long as he doesn't try to pass off as another company or trader.

I think a complaint to ASA about the 'testimonial' may be worth trying if there is a clear statement that the service has not started.

I think with Google you select the amount and the recipient doesn't see your bank details, stopping the fraud of that Lib Dem who was ripping off students by taking more than agreed.

Try another 2 pages with the same guy, the first one which has the same picture as the LeeLon profile says he runs his own cleaning company and the other one with a slightly more professional picture says he works for a Marketing company and only has 3 friends.

Does anyone on here remember the saga of Gorillabus.com. where the prime mover on that fiasco actually came onto our website and made long and detailed postings to reassure any forum members that everything was above board. How matters actually proceeded was a totally different matter. Some forum members felt that my postings in response to his were on the strong side in the matter of questioning his veracity originally, but sympathy for both him and the "company" soon evaporated as the days went on.

This was another "coach firm" with a very childishly-designed website. I wonder what he is doing now.

Out of curiosity, I have just checked their "website", and all I found was their logo and the following text:

Thanks for visiting! We are not currently operating any services, but please check back for updates!

Worthless.

There's someone called Steve Elms who works at Napier Point coaches in Liverpool and started there in January this year - the same month the Gorilla Bus site was taken down.

The Gorilla Bus domain was registered for two years in mid 2011.

Checking the Companies House website, Gorilla Bus Company Ltd has not been closed/wound up, and the company has even submitted its accounts covering the period to 30/06/12. I remain to be convinced if they ever actually ran a bus service.

The routeone article has been mentioned on the Facebook page, although I suspect that it will be deleted rather quickly.

Surprise surprise, mention of the routeone publicity has been removed from the Facebook page - and yet another new website has been created!
