Is there a future for on train catering?

Or, more intelligently, buy their coffee after passing through the barriers.

Doesn't sound too intellegent to me when all the catering is "landside" at every station that I use regularly.

Lots of people seem to manage fine with that. Or, more intelligently, buy their coffee after passing through the barriers.

Lots of assumptions being made that everyone gets on long distance trains at a major station that has catering facilities before and/or after the barriers.
