Hello does anyone know if Flying Scotsman is Copyrighted?
I mean the Royal Scot Steam loco and I mean copyrighted in part.I suppose the first question is - do you mean the locomotive (is there an electric loco called it too?) or the express service between London and Edinburgh.
Then, do you mean copyrighted or trademarked, and in whole or part?
Years ago McVities made “Royal Scot” biscuits. I don’t think that they are still available.Looks like it may be a registered trade mark...

What are you intending to do with, or how are you intending to use the intellectual property of the Steam Loco?I need to know if The Royal Scot Steam loco is copyright.
Can you clarify what exactly you mean and if there is a particular reason you are asking?I need to know if The Royal Scot Steam loco is copyright.
Or, indeed, use of the word 'Royal'.There is also the use of the words in connection with the former army regiment, the First of Line, to be considered. Although not specifically copyrighted, there may be restrictions in law regarding the use of regimental names.
