Referring to the original post on this thread, I CANNOT stand that piece of s**t. Gets on my nerves. It is fair to say the only thing I hate more than it is a Meridian.

If you've no idea what this sort of music is about, do as I did back in the summer of 2002 and listen to Bonkers 8. Play CD1, mixed by the legend that is DJ Hixxy. Try listening to most of the tracks on it. If you don't like it, you're either some ancient bugger who still likes The Beatles or some goth/emo-type character.

As I say, proper dance music. I've got floods of memories just thinking about the hundreds of hours I spent listening to those CDs. Hell, I might get one of them out again later.

music to my ears although i love bonkers 11, and HIXXY/ breeze and styles are legend's,
nice to know there are some good music/rave fans out there

Every bloody time I'm listening to Radio in the car (even for a 10 minute trip to Tescos) it's on. They'll never be Rockstars, so don't ****ing sing about it.

Thank god for recordable CDs, can finally listen to some decent shizzle.
I've got an FM transmitter for my MP3 player.
Basically i plug it into the audio out socket {earphone} on the MP3 player. I then select what i want to listen to on the MP3 player and switch on the transmitter, setting it to a vacant frequency {87.8fm}. I tune the car stero to 87.8 and away i go, my own radio station 8-)
A half decent transmitter costs about £30 from Argos, unbeatable considering the use it gets!

I thought I was the only one on the forum who liked it!

Bonkers 11 was good, definately, but after 12 I lost interest as I found that there wasn't much I liked anymore on them. Saw Bonkers 17 for £4.97 in Woolworths in Hereford last week, if I had had the cash I'd have bought it for a trip down Memory Lane!

I received 3 CDs of Clubland (one with Flip n Fil, whoever the **** they are). A few decent tracks, but the rest is chavvy and are all the same.

I decided to go back to Rock & Indie CDs. Although all my mates request Clubland ...

I like both. And The Trooper is a classic. Mr 156401, please conduct yourself to Loughborough Central for a discussion on musical tastes. If Mr The Slash would care to attend, this would also be welcome.

Is Loughborough Central the only place you can venture these days? Do people have to come to you for fights? ;)

Bah, humbug. I put Bonkers 8 on in the early hours this morning whilst writing up some route clearings sheets. Brilliant it was, massive trip down memory lane!

yeah... if u like ministry of sound, there is a compilation series you should check out called "Euro Club Hits" --

it's pretty clear that dance music is coming back around the world -- just check the recent big American hip-hop and R&B hits which are clear rip-offs of the european dance style.....

here's the direct iTunes link to the "Euro Club Hits" series.....

That's so out of date now though no wonder it's for £10, might as well buy Clubbers Guide 2005.
well I can't buy MoS MU mix 2009 yet can I?? and also, the reason it's a tenner is because it is a cheap CD shop, but very popular, recently took over by HMV. They were even cheaper when indipendent.
