Haha that Walsall one is awful :P Some good replies here guys thanks I also saw the Central line (a recurring theme?) at Liverpool Street today and it still has the Ongar branch covered up and the W&C as BR, and also the service on the loop as splitting at Hainualt, no through trains to Woodford. Some very good oddities round the network :P

The FCC route map (even the latest ones) shows trains to Gillingham when I am pretty sure there are no longer any services going there on the current timetable.

The one on their website not only still shows Gillingham, whereas the furthest trains now go in that direction is Rochester, but also warns of no cross London services overnight or most weekends - and that Blackfriars will be closed from 20th November 2010 till 16th January 2011.

I remember one innacuracy on an old London Connections map back in the late 90s (Think it was 1996 or 97), it showed on the front cover, SWT running beyond Dorking to Horsham! Yet if you looked inside the SWT route terminating at Dorking.

LU do add stickers to maps - usually where there's a temporary closure, but that one sounds either unofficial or added in error.

All other stations with Overground connections had stickers correctly stuck on, so can I only assume it was made in error. Ta very much!

They did run to Horsham though. Can't remember when they stopped...

LM's remaining 321's may have had a repaint, but no-one has bothered to replace the London Connections maps inside dating from 2001, just stickered over the Silverlink logo. Most of the TOCs on it haven't existed for a long time.

I'm not sure LM trains ever stop there, maybe only when there's something big on at the Stadium or the Arena?

Some stations on the Jubilee Line Extension still show an interchange to the East London Line at Canada Water. The network maps on the 379s used to show NXEC at Peterborough - despite National Express giving up that franchise before the 379s were even built!

That would have been produced by a Portsmouth supporter. They are always taking the P out of Southampton.

Yeah I've seen one of the LM early hours ones at Euston. Its something like the last couple of the day when no other operators serve it. Their lack of presence is weird though. Its something to do with Virgin and moderation of competition. But I can't see how as Virgin only occasionally stop for an England Game or an FA Cup final.

That fooled me once when I was in the area, I thought I'd get off a Bakerloo Line train for a fast run from Wembley to Watford, only to find myself thinking "Where the heck are the platforms?".

According to SWT's Penalty Fares leaflet, SWT still serves stations west of Exeter St Davids, whereas SWT stopped serving said stations from December 2009.

I'm not sure what to think of this. Has SWT's publicity department simply forgotten to issue a revised penalty fares leaflet, or is disseminating false information to customers who haven't paid their fares company policy?

Now excluding the fact that railtrack is no more, they never owned the trains, so I can't think why that would even be there. I understand passengers getting Network/National rail confused, and rail track back in the day, but by the people who put the signs up?

Don't see anything wrong with that... as in, Railtrack owned the station! With at least three TOCs serving the station they just put the station owners instead I'm sure

One Bakerloo Line station still has the line to Watford Junction on an old-looking map, albeit covered up mostly. Which one is it? It's definitely an incorrect map as it shows random dashes after Queen's Park.

I'd have still said National Rail platforms 1-8 than any specific TOC or owner of the station. It's not relevant whereas National Rail is a brand, like LU, LO etc.
