I believe drivers have been trained on 334s for Haymarket, although they haven't been used in passenger service. They are in use in Glasgow; North Clyde, Argyle, Inverclyde and Ayrshire lines making occasional cameos on the Cathcart Circle.
As I've said, though, the 334 training was only a few runs (I believe) and is only in case a 318 isn't available to cover for a 322. And, as I also said, I was implying more that Glasgow Electric drivers (Yoker, Shields) will be trained on a 334.
PS, I haven't said so yet, but Good Luck David. I'm sure you'd love driving trains from Perth. Fantastic scenery.
