Not sure where to ask this, mods please move or close if not appropriate, thanks.
I was on a Lioness line train today and noticed that one of the posters said that if a fellow passenger felt ill to offer to help them off the train at the next station, as staff could help better there than on the train.
I know this is standard advice but it got me wondering what the passenger, assuming they were travelling alone, is expected to do if the station they are helped to alight at is unmanned. Is the "helpful" fellow passenger expected to catch the attention of the guard (without the train leaving without them on it) who will call someone to attend the platform?
Thanks for any enlightenment.
