Dismal state of affairs. Good grief - it's only a few months since a full length HST made its way along the Esk Valley Line and the NYMR (a "light" railway - arguably more understandable because they do run heavy locomotives as a matter of course). But no, not between Hull and Beverley.

The 13:48 departure from King’s Cross passed me at Hornsey, running over 10 minutes late destined for Hull.

180109 failed in London this morning which is why the 0727 Kings Cross to Hull was cancelled. The HST stepped in for the 1033 from Hull and 1348 return but presumably 109 was fixed and back in service at Hull for the 1709

There was a move from St Phillips Marsh to Hull Botanic Garden today. I guess it was 010/190.

There is a second set that was made up a week or so ago with power cars 43020 & 023.
It hasn't got to Bristol yet I believe. I last heard it was at Penzance of all places.

Sets used to end up at long rock for deep cleaning a few years ago, I wonder if that set is receiving one of them before heading north.

It's planned for the 0617 HUL-KGX, 0948 KGX-HUL, 1331 HUL-KGX and 1748 KGX-HUL on Saturday, nothing on Sunday.

Well it can't be 165 as it's currently with 43172. And 43020/43023 are still at Long Rock.

That's a relief - I still "require" 190, and this is due to be its last period of hire to HT. Looks like an early start to nab it on 1A91!

It’s not planned to this week, although last Monday it did. In theory it will be used more frequently as more crew training is completed.Does the HST set work on a Monday & if so what diagram please
