Used to pass it everyday on the way to work. Quite glad it didn't happen then, or just before Neville Hill had its open day.

Its an East Midlands Set cant quite make out the one in the distance although it dosent look damaged like he EMT one

Looks like a NX set, you can just make out the white stripe across the power car.

As to the incident, Oh s*** comes to mind - didn't realise it was that bad! only just had a look at the photos.

Interesting photos. However, if I were an employee of EMT Neville Hill and posted these up close and personal photos of this event on the www, I would be looking over my shoulder in case a P45 Form was behind me..

Railway companies are becoming quite sensitive regarding exposure about their operations to the public domain without their prior permission or consent. I work for a Railway company and if a similar incident occured and I posted photos of a similar nature, I know it would be met with disapproval and maybe disciplinary action would take place. We all received memo's stating that anyone relating events of the company to outside sources would face discipline and at most termination of employment.
I appreciate they are great photos and taken with the best intentions, but some Management may not see it the same way.
Was just a mention of a possible repercussion due to the times we live in and not a comment being made in arrogance.

It is quite true. I was once asked to withdraw a couple of my pictures from my fotopic site as it showed some of our intermodel trains fairly empty and they were worried it would look bad on the company. In hindsight I tend to agree.

They did say however that photos either taken in my own time or photos of our trains in a public place were fine.
