Another week's progress (to September 25) shows Madeleine at 4316m to go (+50m), and Karen at 4545m (+137m).
Both TBMs are past Queen's Park station and are advancing under Albert Road just south of the WCML.
Madeleine appears to be about 60m short of the Canterbury Works vent shaft site, maybe the reason for slowing.
Karen, moving at almost 20m/day, is now only 230m behind.
As of 2nd October,
Madeleine now at 4,155m to go (161m, or 23m per day)
Karen now at 4,417m to go (128m, or 18m per day)

Came across a couple of timelapses of the TBMs being assembled and the stub tunnels being excavated, from last summer

Thanks for those videos @bib

One thing I noticed more than once is what appears to be a concrete floor being dug up and a (thicker) one being laid in its place. Is this a temporary surface being replaced with stronger to support the assembly of the TBM ?.
