This prompts a trip to the bookcase, and my cl 67 manual. Explanation - Where I go with them, they're limited to 100, maximum. May not be the case where you are then. Mystery solved.
I suspect you in turn will have a limitation imposed due to the length of your formation. There's not exactly a lot of brake force there for any more than 110!
As for haulage capabilities, I'm basing my observations on having to shift 2 - 3 times that weight.
EWSLucas, 67's for WSMR are cleared for 110mph and the only reason our sets can only do 110mph and not 125 is that the DVT is only a 110mph max vehicle and we do not have anywhere that has 125mph running unless it is MU or EPS. As for brakeforce, I belive a 67 has 74 tons of brakeforce which loco wise is a phenominal amount, (the Deltic only has 51T) plus the 4 coaches and the DVT, the brakes are exceptionally good from 110mph with just 1.5bar in the cylinders, will slow easily. You may sign them but how often do you drive them? The higher speeds we are permitted are WCML 110, Coventry to Stechford 100, Bicester to Princes Risborough 100. I will be honest and say that any more than the 5 vehicles we pull/push would be a big impact on the accelleration as with 6 vice 5 there is a fudemental difference.
Not so long back and maybe still permitted 67's were permitted for 125mph running on the ECML and in some places 125mph light engine so I really do not thing brakeforce is an issue.

No i dont, as it is plainly obvious, was there a need for the big "im a driver therefore I know everything" ??
Calm down, calm down planner, not all drivers are that way inclined

67s achieve 100 with comfort between Stechford and Coventry. Id bet they didnt have much hassle getting to 110 when WSMR did the diversions, there are WSMR drivers about that can probably answer that with more detail.
110mph no problem with an acceleration curve not much short of a Voyagers. I was doing 110mph yesterday between Crewe and Stafford reached 110 still going upthe bank out of Crewe before the gradient drop
