Nobody has mentioned the Pilkington Glass Mk 1 set yet?!

I quite liked that one... I had forgotten about this abomination though:

Weirdly, I quite like that. The stylistic number reminds me a lot of the "street graffiti" style that a lot of authorities tried to emulate in anything youth-orientated back in the early 2000s.

Was really surprised at how comfy and clean looking the Northern and the East Midlands 158's are internally compared to the Scotrail units (tired) and FGW units (too much pink and pastel blue).
It's not all about the outside but after seeing one up close recently, the new livery for the VTEC HST power cars are absolutely minging. They look like one of those muppet motors that a chav tries to turn into a rally car using cheap paint!

Agree with a lot of that. When Northern are working with something that's good to start off with, it works well.

As for VTEC, agree - would have been better with the classic Virgin livery.

Nah, I was quite fond of that, and thought it worked very well with RES class 47s. It looked a bit incongruous with steam, though!
