Help with route in Train Sim.

So one of my favorite routes to drive in TS is the WCML Northwest and Scotland Route from Alan Thomson. The only problem I have is that if I want to make a scenario, I cannot select Preston as the starting point and will have to start somewhere else and move the scenario marker manually, so the scenario will load up where I want.

So how can I add a place to the list, so I can select it as a starting point when I go to make a scenario.

If you come across a similar situation on another route in the future, there is an easy way to place a scenario marker wherever you want so you don't need to move markers around from predefined locations.

• Go the build menu, select your route and click edit.
• Once the route has loaded, click the train (scenario tools) from the top left menu to open the scenario editor.
• Press 9 on the keyboard to open the 2D map, zoom out using the scroll wheel and use the right mouse button to drag the map around.
• Once you know which location you want to be at, press control and left click on that location to center the map.
• Go to the top menu (compass and coordinates) and click the little go arrow button then right click the mouse to leave the map.
• You should now be in the location you selected, if underground just use the controls to move around or press Ctrl, Shift & Home for ground level.
• In the middle left menu select the scenario markers button. Select and place the scenario marker of your choice in the desired location.
