Hello everyone, I would like to get some informations about how to start in the best way with trying to apply on Railway Service sector jobs - mostly for Passenger Service Agent positions or any others like On board positions or handling with customer service.
I wish to know before making any applications how can I improve my chances or at least get any expierience before apply. I was wondering already if there exist any volunteer for that kind of job to at least gain some knowledge or any graduate scheme, some course or anything like that. I tried already to ask by sending email to DLR but there was no answer back. I don't really have any idea where to start and at this point I desperatly seeking for some help. I hope someone can be so kind to offer just a little advice in this case.
Thanks in advance, Adrian

I heard just now that serco lost contract for DLR so now I think even that is going to be a bit difficult. I have previous expierience with providing customer service so I hope that is going to be at least some advantage. Hope that there is a way to at least find any position anywhere just to start somehow and let's see how is it gonna be
