GWR are very nonchalant about Xmas planned engineering work this year.

Details of the impact on our train services of planned engineering work at Christmas 2025 have yet to be finalised. This page will be updated once this has been agreed.

GWR aren't intending for people to look at that page. https://www.gwr.com/christmas redirects to their standard engineering work page this year and they don't have the page above in anything except the sitemap. Previous years used a dedicated page as the HS2 works were more disruptive, but this year is only fewer tracks and retiming/thinning of service.

The problem is that Google suggests the dedicated page that isn't planned to be updated rather than the short link or engineering work page. They'd probably update that page to link to the right place if someone reached out and pointed out politely that it's not clear the information is elsewhere on their site.
