Pretty sure that's just the promotional livery to advertise the arrival of the new trains. I'd expect the final livery to be different.

Have been looking on RTT for IEP movements over Easter, and it appears that night testing is resuming next week, operating some interesting schedules with stops and very odd places, including Maidenhead! Here are the two tests, one from Stoke Gifford to Paddington, then Paddington to Stoke Gifford:

Outward:

Inbound:

Note: This also occurs for Tuesday and Wednesday night.
800004 + (I presume) 800003 have just departed Stoke Gifford depot working 5X80 to Paddington.

Yeah I would like to catch a still photo of 800004, would be the first time since catching it at Didcot Parkway in July 2016. However 2am in the morning? That's just taking the p*ss.

Ah well, just wait till it turns up when I'm back at work and occupied...again. I swear I won't catch it now before October when it enters service. And I'm certainly taking that day off as annual leave, so if it doesn't turn up then, I'm officially giving up.

And apologies if this just sounds negative, I would go to great lengths to take a photo of that specific train in some form of daylight - rain or shine.

The Virgin Azuma livery will also not have a yellow front end as far as I'm aware.

Anyone know which set(s) on it?

Well, this morning's aforementioned run to Stoke Gifford - 001+003 - has not long left there on it's way back, so it's not those two. So I'd guess 002 and/or 004 maybe?

I would not be at all surprised if that is indeed the case - after all the whole thing (there's a thread about it) is a marketing event to promote the Azuma.

I was trying to establish what precisely happened on Tuesday night, as I observed a GWR set and a plain grey set depart Stoke Gifford, which I assumed were 800004 + 800003. However someone reported the return run to be 800003 + 800001. Is 800001 now GWR green, or was there some kind of swap in London?

Only one in GWR green, that's 800004. However a lot of test runs have been occuring simultaneously recently, ones to and from Plymouth and to and from Paddington.

800012, sat in yard at Hitachi Merchant Park. Just visible behind is 800009 which is now numbered, onward delivery must be imminent.

Just had a good look at 800003+800001 at Bristol Parkway on 5X80. Up thread I asked a question about the proportion of table seating to airline in standard class. 800001 still has no seats, with test equipment in the second car from the rear. 800003 is fully fitted with seats, and there are 4 tables in the standard class driving vehicle and the composite vehicle, and 8 tables in the full length intermediate standard class coaches. So it looks like additional table seating compared to the current HST configuration, though not 50% as someone claimed. The first class looked similar to the current HST configuration.
