True but the 314 is based off of BR's standard 1972 Suburban EMU a lot of which served in the Southern Region and that coupler is probably the most common pre-privatisation coupler found in the Southern Region (and not very common anywhere else). Also taking account of HST Powers location leads me to think this is more likely to be a Southern EMU than a more Northerly one.

Also note the use of the world 'probably'
