My money would have been on Edenbridge Town. Hever, though.

Uckfield--old station (closed in 1991)

It was replaced with the new single platform station the other side of the level crossing from where the photographer was standing.


A clue for me was the covered Ground Frame is just visible in the distance which was used to shunt services over the crossover after the line to Lewes closed.

I think 150234 was always a Canton one, which places this on the Western region (unless it's a cunning interegional working or it has strayed). It is in the older style livery, which rules out stations built since the early 90s. The fence and lampost also look WR.

Now, I reckon this is going to be a Swanline station, but I can't remember when the shacks opened (they are mainly early 90s, possibly late 80s). Pyle?
