Micklefield is closer than Thetford is.

As I want this to go quickly, this station is served by 153s on a two-hourly basis.

Not South Bermondsey is it? I'm disapointed to have missed out on Healing. I would agree with TB's reccomendation of the Scunthorpe Steelworks tours, some are steam hauled, some industrial diesels, both are very interesting. Some are brake vans instead of the unit drag. See:

It isn't South Bermondsey, but it is near a large city, but doesn't have regular services there...
