Carlisle and Newcastle?

Carlisle is the picture on the left. There is a photo of Newcastle but thats to the right of the second picture, which is Hexham. There is also a picture of Corbridge.

Wonder what teaser Track Basher has got for us?

So basically they just stuck up some shots of the local stations from days gone by? One way to make a station attractive to the public I guess!

Sorry if I sounded a little harsh in that run. I was getting very fed up with the pic...

Can I just add that my apparently wild guess of Hartlepool wasn't actually that far out? :)

That looks like a Derby unit. It's a bit hilly. There aren't any bars on the windows. I suggest we're looking in the Peak District, let's try Edale.

well, not that far out, at least you can get a direct train from Metrocentre to Hartlepool!

The crossover, which I have done entirely by fluke, made it by far and away the most likely.

I suspect this will last less than three minutes.

Chafford Hundred

(can't tell how many lines there are though, which scuppers this; otherwise, it would be a decent match)

First off it's wired and looks fairly (very) modern. Looking at the catenary, there are two wired roads, but there is a fair old gap suggesting either a lifted line or an unelectrified line, quite possibly on a diverging route. Said layout matches up with Sandbach.

Rayleigh? Just to say I'm pretty sure this is NXEA territory because of the One colours on the doors and the NX CCTV signage. :)

I'm more than 50% certain this is somewhere around home. But I can't pinpoint where (if I'm wrong, that would explain a lot).

I'm going to stick to my guns and go one further up the line to Ockendon. It's that pink paint on the door that's getting me though.

No to the above three from Anon Mouse, clagmonster and NXEA!

clagmonster - Sandbach is one of the LMS's 60s building massacres!

Sorry about the delay; I'm trying to find an NXEA one to keep the theme going...

Will have one up by 10, and will say if it's NXEA or not.

Nope. Doesn't look like I've anything left that would last more than 3 minutes. Unless a pair of 90s at a large station is difficult.
