Steady on, I was being castigated yesterday for posting shots of sheds, I can't win.

Keep moaning if you want a picture of a platform edge slab of concrete to appear.;)

Nobody is right btw.

I'm a jammy git. Is the unit on the Down Windsor Fast (with the peg with feathers to diverge to East Putney/Down Windsor Slow). If so, the Up Windsor Slow platform is in the background, on which I think the south end is disused. Alternatively, I may be talking rubbish.

Out of interest, why did you blank off the numbers of the unit?

Here's a new one for you.

Is this an NR station? Last I knew, the rules required as much (well, NR or NIR)

Ludlow (the sign says "LUD"; Ludlow is the only NR match It's the only match including even heritage lines if Wikipedia is anything to go by!)

The gronk in the picture was formerly operated on BR, so I think the rules allow it. The photo was taken at a no-longer BR station.

Fair enough ;) My apologies :)

First guess for said slab of concrete [opens London & South-East map and points aimlessly]: Wargrave

Both Totnes and Ludlow are incorrect. I think I may have accidentely made it easier by include a segment of the running in board.

The unit was on the DWF, the UWS in the background is used quite a bit and the south end was extended fairly recently. The unit number was blocked out to make things more difficult as the 450/5 units are mostly exclusive to the Windsor side.

Didn't realise the UWS had been extended. From a distance it looked slightly disused. I didn't know about the 450/5s, I suppose it would have made it easier for those who knew both that they existed and what they do. Though I'm sure like all Southern stock they will stray.
