I can't find any match in any modern list, either NR or heritage, and the pic looks to modern to match most entries in my 1947 Atlas (Ludborough [near Louth], Luddendenfoot [near Hebden Bridge], Luddington [near Goole], Ludgershall (Bucks) [near Bicester; officially Brill & Ludgershall], Ludgershall (Berks) [near Andover]; Ludlow being the exception).

As a clue, the station is at a currently operating preserved railway. If Wikipedia says otherwise, then Wikipedia is wrong. I will give further clues as neccesary.

What?!

I don't know what I'm more annoyed with; Ludborough being correct (and no-one having seemingly noticed that I mentioned Ludborough earlier; what heritage line is this then?) or the fact that I have no idea for the next one when it could easily have been my turn! <(

I'm going to open my atlas on a random page and point randomly. I will choose the nearest open station that I am not familiar with (and know to be at least remotely feasible).

You listed Ludborough in a list of stations open in 1947, not as an answer. I felt that saying it was one of those would have been giving too much away. It is on the Lincolnshire Wolds Railway, there website is:

OK; merci :) I honestly did not know of the LW.

I kind of hope that Mr Taylor is right. As a general rule of thumb, I seem to do better with his (even when they aren't SR-related). It's just that he seems to get mine too easily as well...
