I will be online most of the afternoon, I would have thought this will go fairly quickly.

TB - you've just reminded me that I do in fact have a picture of a station cat which includes enough clues to make it eligible, but not enough that it would be instant!

I must try to look it up tonight and scan it in....

Meanwhile, Clagmonster's entry is Carlisle and the floor is open.

Is it at Catford?

I shall assume the open floor, seen as no-one else wants it (or is able to take it).

No clues at all, because the number of possible stations is rather limited anyway...

N.B.: If you're wondering why this picture has a slightly different code to the rest of mine, it's because I add the "-2" at the end manually when editing a shot for this thread. However, I had previously edited this shot ready for use some time ago, but I feel that it is better in its unedited form.

Oh for Pete's sake. I spent five minutes writing that, allowing for a slow upload.

And now I haven't got a clue. Somewhere not in Juice Land from the looks of it, but I'm going to choose a station in that area anyway and say Crouch Hill.

Say, you're right. I am way out. This is on a Pacer. And regardless of all this "Can Pacers run over 3rd rail tracks?" malarkey, they don't run in the south-east! So let's try somewhere else. Orrell?

I think im wrong now, esp as i see no evidence of OHLE, but the first thing that came to mind originally was 'Adwick' on the Donny to Leeds mainline.

Hmm... I see a rather large car park in the background with an (old) NWM 150 in the foreground. Let's take a punt on Lye.

Seen as you and 4SRKT "discussed", you have disappointed me in making it such a northern location (Birmingham is in the north now  - I have never called it northern and may well never do so again!)...

Thni i know what line it is, and if im right, would have been through there very recently, but it could be any of the stations along the line.
Eh, absolute guess, cos its on that line, Wood End??

Two incorrect guesses so far.

Those of you clamouring for a picture from the Southern should be careful because I might just post a picture of a station cat.

You'll all get it wrong.

And I'll laugh.:D

Is the cat's name Peter Mugridge?

And is Peter's picture of a cat called Matt Taylor?

:D

OK, let's try something on the opposite side of Brum (actually not even in Brum but there you go) to my first guess: Hatton

I don't recognise it at all :(

And what's all this 150010 business? Surely a 150/0 is one of the prototype 3-car sets. I remember we had a conference in Stratford upon Avon about 5 years ago, and instead of getting trollied in the bar before the evening meal I went for a walk around the town, including visiting the station where I was surprised and pleased to see the real deal 150001 in Centro colours on a train to Brum. Got trollied later on, although this wasn't the infamous year when one of the [now ex-]managers of our firm rammed the head of the marketing director of one of our clients through a partition wall, breaking his collarbone, during a drunken brawl!
