There are two stations in this town/city/village.

Doesn't look Stourbridge Junction to me, unless the PPM platform is to the right of the picture? But I thought it's elevated?

Interesting Rowley Regis fact. It is one of only two places in the country to have a street called 'Bell End' (the other is Wollaston in Northamptonshire). I ran a query on the Royal Mail postcode address file to ascertain this nugget. Now I need to run the same query on the 'sub-town' field to find how many villages are called or contain 'Bell End'.

Looks so much like Cambridge, and 59104 was displayed at Cambridge open day in 1991 which seems to be the year this was taken.

Whoever said this was an Anglian shot? I am however going to agree with the majority thus far, and say Norwich. Even though I'm confident that it isn't.

It is on an RETB line so that is Far North, Kyle or West Highland and it is at a passing loop.

That does not leave too many options.

It is not Dyce or Inverurie. These are not on RETB fitted lines and I am 99.9% sure it is because of the boards at the end of the loop.

I think I know where it is but will have to be told I am wrong first.

This is not West Highland either because it is a 158 and they only work out of Inverness. That only leaves a very small number of stations.
