If you look carefully the windows are boarded up therefore the building is probably not in use.

The architecture looks very familiar but I cannot place the station.

Another guess which I don't think is correct Kendal.

I don't think it's on any of the branches between Reading and PAD- they're not elevated anywhere, I don't think, apart from W&E Central, which is just different...

It would be cruel of me to not accept this as the answer. It is indeed West Drayton.

Ian said the answer was obvious and he is right. Check my location on the left! It was staring you guys in the face all this time....

The picture is taken on the northernmost platform (which isn't numbered but probably would be plat. 5 if it was) and the line is exclusively used for freight to Colnbrook terminal (unsurprising when you can see the platform ebbing up and down).

The windows on the buildings aren't actually boarded up but they look that way from the angle I took it at due to the fine mesh which covers them.

I thought this would be a good contender. Thanks guys for entertaining me this evening. Now back to studying for my PTS test.....

That's surprised me- it was my first thought (before Maidenhead), but I ruled it out as it wasn't the pub by the railway. Looking at streetview, looks like the pub's closer to the main road than I thought it was...

Right, let's try this one...
