You are correct.

It is such a remote station that this morning I spent an hour touring the country lanes navigating with an ordnance survey map trying to find it.....!
There are only a few daily trains that stop there so difficult by rail.

Anyone else photographed it or even used it..?

I've been through it a few times (not since most the trains stopped calling at all stations), but never got on or off.

I'm a semi-regular on the line as I drink in the Red Lion about a mile from Appledore station (superb pub of another era if anyone's ever in the area) as often as I can get down there. Used to go up and down the line from Ashford to Hastings for fun when it had proper trains on it (there's more than one Thumper fanatic on this thread!), but now only use it to get to Appledore from the Ashford end.

The sound of the Thumpers resonating across the marsh was quite something.

Oh, and floor open- I'm not on my home PC.

Oh it was Prestatyn I was thinking of, and it isn't there.. haha. Been on the NW Coast line many times anyway, should have known. Anyway, not a clue.
