I also had Derby as my immediate first thought, but was put off by the disused comment. Perhaps I should say (misleadingly) that the station in the picture below has now been blown up just to throw people off the scent! ;)

Well if I am going to be bollocked on the basis of what I know having been to the station.............. ;)

Yes true Ashford (Kent) . It is dated by the "Jaffa Cake" coloured 4 CEPs which was introduced about 1985/1986 and lasted about 5 years or so.?
Give me 15 minutes and I will try to post a station myself. I have not sent in a photo before so if please be patient. If no response by 1145 then the floor is open.

Not Goldthorpe,

Clue - Although the photo is from 30th August 1985 the station is pretty much the same except I believe the station building is now a pub.

Way, way too far out, look at timetables 13-15 for the answer (if you're using NXEA's Purple West Anglia timetable :D).

Should point out that Shenfield is also on the Green Mainline timetable too, my apologies for the error.

Can't see this one either.

Any chance of adding them as attachments in the future. You can then see them on a smartphone.

This could of course be a plan to stop me getting them.
