If I had know he was in the same tour as me yesterday I could have sent some of the 31 bashers round to deal with him.

However I think there is a problem with my theory they would have set off with lots of enthusiasm making lots of noise as they went. Their progress would have been very slow and it is very likely they would have failed before reaching him.

If I had know I would have said hello.

I was thinking of the station on the North London Line where there is an interchange with the underground. I have obviously got the name wrong.

That's on the Gospel Oak to Barking line isn't it, which is not electrified.

I was trying to remember the stations between Gospal Oak and Stratford. After I posted my answer I spotted it was a 378/1 so was EEL extension south of New Cross Gate which was actually correct.

Did 321s go to Long Buckby? I know they were stuck on services to Northampton but didn't think they went further!

Though they worked the Birmingham-Northampton services too (whcih is what Long Bucby is served by hourly).

The station was of course made famous as it is the nearest station to where Lady Diana Spencer is buried (think what you like about her), and I think the station played a role in her funeral.
