Going by the CIS board, it's definately SWT. The canopy looks too old to be Guildford though.

I've just found one image on Flickr that seems to match that one quite well (Same type of gate and everything) but it could just as easily be a red herring. I will say that the photo I've found appears to come from an area in the North East, though...

That said; I know one other place where a similar type of barrier is in use, onto which those pedistals could be retrofitted...Is Southampton Central a good guess?

Belfast Central is correct. Dublin would be breaking the rules as it's outside the UK.

I was at Central to take a train to Adelaide, but when I saw 001 (at that time the oldest loco in Ireland) on the 18:00 non-stop working to Connolly instead of the booked 071 I took the local train to Dunmurry instead to get a shot of it at the level crossing. It was magnificent as it hammered through, although I've lost the shot .

How I wish I had taken it all the way to Dublin: Should have done really as I could have come back on the 20:15 NIR working. Just imagine Belfast > Dublin non-stop behind that beast! Only took 1 hr 55 compared with today's best of 2 hr 05!

'A's were absolute monsters. Shame none on the mainline at present but at least some survive.
