Floors open. :) By the way, does that shot date from a few months ago? Because I was waiting for a Paddington service on the adjacent platform, and it came through Ealing, and I was quite surprised, 220032 was the number if I remember right. :)

They used to operate through Kensington Olympia on a few Manchester-Brighton trains until a year or two ago. :) Not sure if they called at East Croydon or not.

Indeed:
Reading-Guildford-Redhill (reverse)-Gatwick Apt; or
Reading-Kensington Olympia-East Croydon-Gatwick Apt, I am unsure of the route from Reading to Kenny, but from then on, it took the multitude of curve underneath Clapham Jn, onto the BML.

From Reading I would imagine they went down the GWML to Ealing Broadway and then used the link from the GWML to the WCML which comes out at Willesden Junction and then ran alongside the WCML for about 100 metres and then turned off on that link from the WCML to the WLL which the hourly Southern service uses to access Kensington Olympia, and then as you said. :)

Has roughly 25,000 users a year, a station served by a single digit Northern timetable.

Eh? Single digit timetables operate out of Fenchurch Street and Liverpool Street.
