Ssh!!!!! It's no fun if you used to work there :( In case anyone is wondering why I was allowed down to platform level during the works, my dad was coordinating the buses (with my help) and so we were allowed access to the facilities if we needed them.

In other words, Matt Taylor has it right.

Well, the 56 certainly isn't at Twickenham, so I assume you're referring to its unworthy successor, the shed.

Where is the 56 at then?

EDIT: re. your edit, the 56 is indeed at Leicester.

He said Twickenham to mine, which was about as accurate as saying that Twickenham is the home of English rugby.

I don't suppose anyone has correctly answered two in one post before now have they?

66 at Twickenham, 56 at Leicester is what I meant.

Good Lord, this is getting confusing, what with two pictures up at once and everyone editing like mad! It is Leicester, and Matt has the floor.

Quite a modern pic that. From the sign in the background, which *seems* to say 1 2 3 4 & 12, and also the black and red colour scheme, I wouldn't hesitate to call Crewe. It probably isn't though.

Derby? Haven't been since it got redone but looks similar to pics I've seen...

EDIT: Think Tugzrule has got it

Really?! There was me expecting a pair of 37s and unbranded MK2s to be working 1S82! :D

I have the same problem whenever I see Peter Mugridge has posted after I've put up a poser. The Mugster seems to have been everywhere that I've been, and viewed it from exactly the same angle!

Try this one. I like using these older pictures because pre-privatisation liveries aren't such a giveaway.

Well, I have well over 370,000 miles on the clock and started out as an enthusiast back in spring 1979, so I have been to or through virtually the entire list of stations on the national network...

It also means I'm familar with the pre-privatisation stuff, by the way; recognised Fareham instantly but only just got online.....!!
