^^^ I think 4SRKT has probably stated why. Because Plymouth, in spite of its proximity to PacerLand, never gets them. Lucky buggers.

There are only a number of tours this can be 37670+37401. There is only a small window between 37670 coming back before it was repainted. There are only about 4 tours they did together. It is not the Mossley Hill to Cardiff as they were the other way round all day.
I have an answer outstanding but I have changed my mind. I now think it is Berwick on Tweed.

Well, you may be interested to know that 142094 and I are going on a WY DayRover tomorrow, and the only rule is that it's pacers all the way. We're allowed a non-Pacer positioning move if necessary at the beginning and end, but after that if a non-Pacer turns up, then we have to flag it and get the next train that is a Pacer! TBF the itinerary is for rock solid pacer diagrammed workings, but all the same it'll be a pacertastic day!

Actually, to be fair I would ask to join if it was practical for me to do so. Providing of course the positioning move would be a non-Pacer! I don't want to start my 2011 run with a piece o... I mean, Pacer.

My guess is that it was on one of the test train workings prior to being brought into full passenger service .
Suggest therefore off it its normal passenger route and being on the up fast line at Grove Park.

No. I'm 99% sure that Track Basher is right, it's Dover Priory taken from the road bridge.
The canopy supports are different at Faversham, as are the ends of canopy and there is no billboard on the platforms AFAIK.
