Back on the West Wales day again last month. You can see a 175 to the far right.

Open floor, I'm doing some guessing and not posing for a while. Unless no-one has claimed by 21:00 in which case I'll do another.

TBH I think it's impossible and makes a bit of a mockery of the whole thing. We're back to the brick in the wall at Gravesend.

It's good that you only put up your own shots though. Personally I think this should be a rule of the game.

Agreed. I wish that shot of MFH was better, but allowing for location I expected TB to call it anyway (as I did with Pembroke, which didn't happen).

When was this brick in the wall anyway? I don't remember that have now found it; went surprisingly quickly!, although some silly shots - like those of cats from a few days ago - were a good laugh. I do promise that my next one will be a clearer shot; it is lined up already. And it's not easy either, so when it comes along do enjoy! Although I do kinda missing ranting about my lack of experience in Yorkshire with all of your shots...

As for the present shot (that of Scotsman), I would have to assume that this station is somewhere in Haggisland. Somewhere like Dalmally, perhaps. Of course, having never been north of the Central Belt as explained before...

I don't mind people posting shots that they have not taken themselves, the alternative is to have the same few people posting images all the time.

Not a clue on the station but own pictures only unless you are absolutely sure the picture you post is the station you make it out to be.

As I said the other day I do not have a problem with challeging pictures. The person that does needs to be realistic. It is funny for the first 10 minutes but if it is too difficult you realistically have to give clues.

Again no problem with using other people's pictures but you have to be sure the answer is correct. I only use pictures I have taken but I did unintentionally make an error the other day by remembering the wrong station after 20 years. Only when someone queried it I checked and discovered the mistake.

I got one of my own pictures wrong once.

Nuneaton, Bletchley, they all look the same to me.

At least those two errors are reasonable; they are the same TOC in both cases and not too far apart. I'd be more worried if someone mixed up Liverpool Central and Essex Road "because they're both in deep-bored tunnels".

Anyway, what has happened to scotsman? It is prime time as far as this thread goes; a post every couple of minutes!

Yep, it seems to be another day of total inactivity. I don't even have the foggiest of where the current station could be to try and move it along a little

I think it's in Fife, but beyond that I'm stumped. I don't do random, so I'm not going to run through a list of Fife stations. If I don't know it I don't know it.
